Born to a physicist and a fortune teller, I’ve worked as a farmer, a carpenter, a cabinetmaker, a facilities manager, a propmaster, and an entrepreneur.
For the last 25 years, my passion has been for building things and creating environments that blend form and function. My years in theater provided me with the opportunity to build incredible things using any medium on a shoestring budget and short timeline. In Facilities Management, I learned to flip that equation and use larger budgets to be creative within the tight style palette.
For fun, I build computers and set up networks. I like hanging out with my wife, Violet, SCUBA diving and hiking in exotic places (like the Columbia Gorge), and renovating my 1914 home here in NE Portland.
